About this tool

Chord Progression Player

Guitar Tool Hub's online chord progression player lets you play and loop any guitar chord sequence using real sampled acoustic, electric, or classical guitar sounds — no download or account required. Build a progression chord-by-chord from over 800 voicings and apply more than 20 strumming and fingerpicking patterns such as the aloha strum, travis picking, flamenco rasgueado, calypso strum, cascading arpeggio, and waltz. Adjust tempo freely from 40 to 220 BPM, choose between acoustic, electric, or classical guitar, and control each chord's duration, repeats, and volume individually. Mark any chord as the Start Here or End Here point to drill a specific section — perfect for practicing a tricky chorus or transition without replaying the whole progression. Preset progressions include 12-bar blues in A, Canon in D, ii-V-I jazz cadence, folk strum in G-D-Em-C, reggae riddim, and cascading ballad. Rest slots let you add silence between chords, loop mode keeps the progression repeating for continuous practice, and you can export the finished progression as a downloadable WAV audio file.
