Connect your guitar to a USB audio interface with an instrument (Hi-Z) input using a standard 1/4" cable, plug the interface into your computer, then press Plug in and pick it when the browser asks for the microphone. Switch the interface's direct monitoring off so you hear only the amp.
🎤 It also works with a mic
No interface? Your laptop mic will pick up an acoustic or unplugged electric guitar and run it through the amp. It's noisier and can feed back through speakers, but it's a real way to try the sound — with wired headphones on.
⏱️ About latency
Browsers add roughly 15–40 ms between your pick and your headphones — fine for practice and jamming, a touch looser than a native amp sim with an ASIO driver. Wired headphones only; Bluetooth adds far too much delay.
🔒 100% private
The signal is processed live by the Web Audio API on your device and plays straight back out. Nothing is recorded, nothing is uploaded, and no audio ever leaves your browser.
